MRO Buyer

VT Hackney, a leading designer and manufacturer of specialty truck bodies and trailers, is searching for a MRO Buyer in its Washington, NC location.

Job responsibilities include:

Buying office supplies, consumables and machine repair parts for production equipment
Reviews and processes approved requisitions
Ensures inventory stocks are sufficient
Daily interaction with vendors

Qualifications include:

Associates degree and five years’ experience or equivalent, related, work experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficient in Microsoft office, knowledge of ERP or MRP software
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Product Engineer

VT Hackney, a leading designer and manufacturer of specialty truck bodies and trailers, is searching for a Product Engineer in its Montgomery, PA location.

Job responsibilities include:

Troubleshooting product design issues
Troubleshooting production engineering issues
Assisting with special or new customer options
Liaison between PA manufacturing team and corporate engineering

Qualifications include:

BSME preferred
5+ years trailer manufacturing engineering and/or design/development experience a plus
Communication, Implementation, and Troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment is required

Production Positions

VT HACKNEY, Kidron, a leader in manufactured custom truck bodies and trailers have immediate openings for 1st shift positions. Experienced Assemblers and Welders are needed.

Assemblers should have experience in a manufacturing environment
Welders with experience in mig, steel, stainless & aluminum.
All candidates must strive to safely produce a quality product.
