VT HACKNEY PROMOTES JOHN SOMMER JR. TO VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES FOR KIDRON TRUCK PRODUCTS

(VT Systems), today announced the promotion of John Sommer, Jr. to the position of Vice President of Sales for Kidron Truck Products.  In his role, Sommer will oversee all strategic sales efforts related to Kidron, including management of Kidron’s National Account and Regional Sales team. 

“John has been an integral part of Kidron’s sales growth since his career began,” says Mike Tucker, President, VT Hackney.  “He has a great understanding of the value of Kidron products and how they translate to customer needs.  His background in aftermarket, customer service and national account sales has served as great preparation for his new role.”

Sommer’s career in the industry started at Waltco Lift Corporation before he joined Kidron in 1998.  Throughout his time at Kidron, Sommer has held various management positions in areas of customer service, marketing and sales.  Before his promotion, Sommer served seven years as National Accounts Director.
